Verbier -Tuesday 6th December

This Tuesday (yes Tuesday), I will be playing in Verbier, Switzerland at The Farinet Hotel alongside DJ Hoax.   London - Geneva - Martigny - Verbier - Gig and back again all within 24 hours and I can't wait!   It's my first time performing there and I expect it will be full of snow-loving nutters and a dash of alcohol :) The 'Welcome Seasonaires' Party, Tuesday 6th December - See you there.

Bar Mango - Saturday 26 November

Sync_nov11_web

Just one week to go to my debut gig at Bar Mango in Reading! Sync International are no newcomer to putting on events and festivals around the world - I'm the guest for the night so I've got some great new sounds set up for the night and I'm really looking forward to it :)

I will be performing with DJ's Rick Maia (Sync International), Dan Plume and Matt Powell.

It's open from 10pm until 4am and it's looking like it's going to be a busy one. See you there!

High praise from Thomas Gandey..

Top flight DJ, Musician and Producer Thomas Gandey gives a great interview here for DMCWorld. In this interview Thomas is asked about his time in Ibiza; "Who is the best artist you have seen play on the island?"

"All the crème de la crème play in Ibiza but I really enjoy going to see my good friend Alfredo - he is Mr Balearic. Sometimes I play with Ian C too who often plays with Alfredo and he's the best percussionist on the island.  When I play I do the carnival Techno thing that Luciano does, but it goes to a new level with a great percussionist such as Ian to add natural grooves."

High praise indeed.. Thanks Thomas!!

Ylotana Project: More than music (Parts 1 and 2)

Just going through some links and videos from my archive and this really has bought back some great memories..   I am lucky enough to be involved with an amazing group of talented individuals based in Moscow (I'm the only non-russian musician in the band). We are called Ylotana Project and are rather popular in that part of the world with many tracks, albums and even books already released over there and indeed through-out the world. For more about this project go to www.ylotana.com

In 2009 we performed at a venue called Arma, an old factory in an area of Moscow where underground events sporadically occur - The dialogue is mainly in Russian, but the visuals and music is still very much worth taking in - the whole concept is multi-media based with contributions from writers and artists adding to the finished project - hope you like it as much as I do!
